What is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science devoted to the understanding and improvement of human behavior. Board Certified Behavior Analysts focus on objectively defining behaviors of social significance, intervening to improve behaviors, and discovering environmental variables that reliably influence behavior.
ABA is the leading approach for treating individuals with developmental deficiencies often associated with autism. It is also widely used in education, mental healthcare, sports, fitness, business management, and anywhere there are aspects of life.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is an empirically-based psychological intervention and a branch of Applied Behavior Analysis. ACT uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies paired with commitment and behavior-change interventions, to increase psychological flexibility. It's about action guided by our core values. ACT is a powerful model that is successfully used in treating addiction, depression, anxiety, self-harm, post-traumatic stress, and eating disorders.
